Challenge #232

Good morning, afternoon, evening -wherever you may live.  Thanks for stopping by Try Stampin' - Or Not.  We are so glad you decided to visit our site and perhaps you will play along with us this week.

To begin, our photo for the week is one of an awakening sunflower from our garden.
We plant sunflowers by the deck to act as privacy and as a draw for the bees.

On to our top three from challenge #230.....

Great cards, ladies!  And very interpretations of our challenge.  Congratulations to you, and to all of the other entrants (here and on the Facebook page) thanks for participating in this challenge.  Awesome cards from all!

Our sketch this week is courtesy of Hillary and the theme (should you choose to use it) is HAPPY.  I sure hope you can find the time in the next two weeks ( challenge ends on September 1st) to play along with us.
And here are the really amazing cards from our team:

Wow!  Great cards ladies.  I know they all make me happy and I am sure they will inspire our followers to make some cool cards of their own.  Remember everyone, you have two weeks to complete your card and you can enter below or on our Facebook page.

Challenge #231

Hello and happy Tuesday!  If you have never visited us before, welcome!  If you are a regular here, welcome back!  Every Tuesday we post a sketch challenge which runs for two weeks to give you lots of time to fit some crafting into your busy schedules.  Hope you enjoy our site.

To start out, here is our photo for the week:
This little guy popped under our fence to get the seeds the birds drop from one of our feeders.  I know not everyone likes mice, but I think he is cute!

On to our top 3 from challenge #229:

And honourable mention:

We had LOTS of entries and it was a very difficult task to pick the top three...they were all so good!  Thanks to all who joined in and congratulations to our top 3 (I mean 4).

Now for this week's sketch (courtesy of Sarah C.):
The technique challenge, should you choose to use it, is Water colour - water colour some element on your card. Remember, you do not have to use this technique to participate!
Here are the samples from our talented team:

Beautiful cards, team!  I am sure they will inspire our viewers to create something special.

Challenge #230

Happy Tuesday to everyone!  I was photographer at a wedding this weekend and so my photo for the week comes from there.  The youngest daughter was a flower girl and, after the ceremony, she took off her shoes and decided romp through the grass.  I just like this photo and hope you do as well.
A bit of whimsy!

Challenge #228 produced some great cards from our followers.  Here are three of the best:

Congrats, ladies and thanks to all who entered.  Please check out the post from challenge #228 to see the other great entries.

Now on to this week's challenge.  This week we have Kaylin to thank for our sketch and our twist.
Use the sketch, the photo, or a combination of both as inspiration this week.
Here are the cards our team came up with:
