Challenge #268

Hi, everyone!   Hope you are having a great week so far.  It is cold here - again; yesterday we had snow. Brrrrrr, will spring ever come?

As always, we  begin with our photo of the week.
This robin was all ruffled up and taking a shower in the rain the other day.  He was just too cute to pass by.

Our top cards from Challenge #266 are as follows (in no particular order):

Beautiful, ladies!  Once again there were several entries which makes my job very hard- but that is a VERY GOOD THING!  Thanks to all who entered and congratulations to our top three!

On to this week's sketch.....
Our optional theme is : A  Trio of Textures (use it or not, it is up to you).
And here are the designs from the team:

Awesome samples, team!  Beautiful as always.  I am positive that you will inspire each of our viewers to create a card for this challenge.  Thanks so much for being on the Try Stampin' team.

Challenge #267

Good day and happy Tuesday!  Wishing all the best.

Our photo for the week is an unexpected one.  This squirrel shinnied the post to our deck and grabbed a peanut from the railing....and we were sitting right there.
It brought a smile to our faces, as I am sure it does yours.

On to our top 3 for challenge #265. As we are getting more entries, the choices become more difficult....but that is a very good thing.  I am thrilled with the response lately and thank everyone who participates. Here are the top 3 AND an  honourable mention:

and honourable mention to:

Way to go, ladies!  And thanks to everyone who entered both here and on Facebook.
Once again I would like to remind you that, if you are going to enter and would like to be featured in our top picks, I have to be able to copy your card.  There was a dynamite card this week that I wanted to choose but the function to copy had been disabled.  So please, allow us to  showcase your work!

Our sketch this week is thanks to Crystal and the OPTIONAL theme is PASTEL PLEASE.  Use it or not, t is up to you.
And here are the cards from our talented team:

Beautiful cards, team!  I LOVE how they are each so very different from the others.  This should really inspire our viewers to create.
Remember, everyone, that our challenge runs for two weeks and you can enter as a link below or as a comment on our Facebook page.  Happy cardmaking, all!
P.S.  If you get the time, why not click on a designer's card and leave her a comment on her blog?  I know she would really appreciate hearing from you.
Thanks so much!

Challenge #266

Welcome to Try Stampin' - Or Not - On Tuesday!  Glad you could stop by.  Each week we offer you a new sketch as an idea for a card.  We hope you find the time to play with us this week.
As always, we begin with a photo..just something I like to share.
The weather has been so cold and snowy that I bought some flowers and tried some different kinds of floral shots.   Hope you like it.

Our top three from challenge #264 is s follows:

And honourable mention:

Once again, there were so many gorgeous cards to choose from. Each and every one of them was a winner to me.  A big CONGRATS! to our picks for the week.

And  here are the cards from our talented team:

As you can see, there are so many ways to interpret our sketch and so many ways to make it your own.  Great cards by the ladies on the team and very inspirational!
I am sure you will come up with your own individual   take on our sketch and I cannot wait to see them.
As always, our challenge runs for two weeks and you can enter below or on our Facebook page.
Hope you have fun this week and make a little time to do what you really love to do.....make cards, of course!

Challenge #265

'Morning, 'Afternoon, 'Evening all!  Wherever you live, welcome to Try Stampin'.

As always, I begin the post with our photo of the week.
This little guy  is a frequent visitor to our yard as my husband feeds the critters as well as the birds.  I think he is just so darned cute.  On that note, in case anyone is interested, I have started a new Facebook page, My Backyard Photography, to showcase my photos of the flora and fauna of my area.   It is in the ground work stages but I would appreciate some visits and some followers.

On to our top 3  + 1   from challenge #263.  We had a lot of entries so there will be a Top 4.

Congrats, ladies and thank you to everyone who entered!  There were sooo many beautiful cards both here and on Facebook.  It makes me happy to see such great participation.  It was a great week!
I do want to add that there was another card I wanted to showcase but the author had disabled the ability to copy the card so I was not able to add it to the post.  Remember everyone, I have to be able to save your card and link it if you want us to feature it.

Our challenge this week is a sketch from Kaylin and our OPTIONAL THEME is Spring Is Here. Feel free to use the theme or not - it is up to you.
Here are the cards from our team:

Wow!  Great cards team!  I know that you will inspire our visitors to create some really sweet cards of their own.  You always amaze me   with your artistic talents.
Remember, everyone, that our challenge runs for two weeks and you can enter below (using the linky)  or as a comment on our Facebook page.   Happy creating and have a great week!
