Now for my last piece of business...

I have decided to give up the reins of this blog.  Kaylin will be taking over (starting tomorrow).  She will post the challenge for this week.  It will be a day late but November 1st will be a brand new start for the site.  The number of followers is up but the number of cards we get each week is down and maybe Kaylin will have the golden touch to get things booming again.

I have run this site for seven years and love it like a child.  There have been many designers (some have come and gone and come again), and I made some great friendships.  I will miss the site - but I will be checking in from time to time.

Kaylin will be a great administrator for the site as she is young, enthusiastic and extremely talented.  I wish her all the best and hope everyone will support her and the design team to keep this going for a long, long time.

Hi, all!

This is where I would regularly post the top cards from two weeks ago.  But the numbers have been a little light lately so there will not be a top three this week.  It is too difficult to choose three out of four cards and leave one out in the cold.  So.............
Next week, we will choose our TOP 5 for the entire month as well as drawing for our Halloween card winner.  Hope you don't mind.  
Sorry but I think this is a fairer way to do it.

Challenge #344

Good morning!  I hope you are ready for some card making.  It is getting close to Halloween so I am offering a prize for this challenge .  Just create your coolest Halloween card (inspired by our sketch) and post it ON BOTH this page and our Facebook page to be eligible to win.  We will have a random drawing on October 30th and all cards which show up on both sites will be entered.  I will announce the winner on our Facebook page on October 31st.

Before I  go on, I would like to thank the ladies on our design team.  They are not only talented but extremely dedicated to this site.  They do not hesitate to do anything they can to keep this blog running smoothly (especially when I fall behind) and I am so very grateful to them.  Thank you, team, and big hugs to you!

Now for this week's sketch....it is a very complex one with several elements involved.  Great to test the creativity (and use up scraps of paper).
