Challenge #294

Hello!
I hope you have been enjoying our "getting ready for the holidays month".  I know our team has.
This is the second last challenge for this theme (technically it is the last Tuesday of the month, but we will end with a blog hop next Tuesday - just to put the icing on the cake!

Just like last week, there is no photo - I have to remember to take more Christmas photos this year.

So on to the top cards for last week.  Here they are, in random order:

Beautiful cards, ladies!  Congratulations !  And thank you so much to everyone who participated.

Now for our challenge this week.   Challenge #294 is yet another beautiful sketch from Kaylin and has the optiona technique: Paper Piercing.
And here are the samples from the talented ladies on the team:

I am 100% sure these cards will inspire you to create a special holiday card of your own and I cannot wait to see what you make.  Remember, you have two weeks to enter and you can enter here or on the Facebook page.  Happy creating, all.

p.s.  Check out our facebook page tomorrow as there will be one more contest (a bit different this time).
Take care, all!

Challenge #293

Hi. everyone!  Glad you are here.
I hope you are enjoying our "pre-holiday" extravaganza.  I noticed participation is down - but maybe everyone is just plain busy. At least, I hope that is the case.  Remember, you do not have to enter a holiday card, we are just doing this to jump start everyone on their Christmas plans.

We are skipping the photo section of our post - I simply have no new winter photos and do not want to bore you with an old repeat.  In fact, I am thinking of eliminating that segment of our weekly post.

On to the top cards from challenge #291.  Here they, in no particular order:

Congratulations on the great cards, ladies!  Thanks to all who [played along.

Our challenge this week has an optional technique: a touch of fabric.  Use it or not - it is up to you.
This fun sketch is again courtesy of Kaylin.

Here are the examples from the talented team:

Wow!  Great examples.  I so want to thank our dedicated team for all the effort they put into this blog.  I am grateful for all they do ---and I am sure you all are as well!

As always, this challenge runs for two weeks and you can enter below or on our Facebook page.  Happy creating, all!

Challenge #292

Hello!  Glad to see you here. I hope you are enjoying our "Getting Ready For The Holidays" month and that you are having some fun.
Our photo this week is another from the archives as we are still experiencing gorgeous weather here.
Cardinals remind me of Christmas at my aunt's in Ohio.  She had numerous cardinal ornaments around the house during the holidays.

On to our top three from challenge #290( in random order):

Congrats, ladies!  And a big "thank you" to all who played along.

Now for this week's sketch:
Optional theme: Tag Along

And here are the inspirational samples from the team:

Awesome cards!  And very inspirational.  I am sure our viewers will want to play along with this challenge.  If we get more than 10 entries, there will be a random drawing for a prize.  (remember you have two weeks to complete your card).  So let's all have some fun.

And don't forget to check our Facebook page tomorrow for the winner of our trivia contest.
Happy crafting!

Challenge #291

Welcome to our pre-holiday month.  We wanted to help you get ready for the holiday season which is ahead of us so we are devoting all of October to "everything  for the holidays".  There will be contests, recipes, hints, and of course, lots of cards to get everyone in the mood to create their Christmas cards.

I do not really have any holiday photos so perhaps something wintry will have to do.
Snow on a feeder - just to get us in the mood.

On to our top cards for challenge #289.  Before I show you, I once again want to remind you that when you link your card, make sure it is to your blog or wherever you post your cards.  There is an adorable card which was linked back to our blog so I have no way of including it in our top three.
Here are the top three:

Very nice, ladies!  Congratulations and thanks to all who played along.

Our challenge this week, as I mentioned, begins our get-ready-for-the-holidays month.  The sketch is courtesy of Kaylin and the optional technique is weaving .
And here are the samples from our team:

I am pretty sure these examples should put you in a holiday mood and I cannot wait to see what you come up with.  Remember, our contest runs for two weeks and you can enter below (using the linky) or on our Facebook page.  Happy creating, all!

P.S.  check back on Friday for a little something special.
