Challenge 639 - Ends Sunday, Feb 4th

Try a Sketch On Tuesday Challenge #639

Welcome to the new face of TSOT!

Just in case you missed our announcement regarding our challenge, we are now "Try a Sketch On Tuesday" and we welcome you to our new format. We are a semimonthly challenge and our challenges are scheduled for the first and third Tuesdays each month. If you require more information about our challenge, refer to the tab "Challenge Guidelines".

To view the Top Three selections for Challenge #638, see the previous post or click HERE.

Challenge #639, which opened on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at 6:00 am EST, will run through Sunday, February 4, 2024, closing at 12:00 pm (noon) EST. This sketch requires the use of a sentiment so be sure to include one in your design.

A sketch is a puzzle. Use this sketch as inspiration and let's see what you bring out of your stash to make the puzzle pieces fall into place. And don't be afraid to puzzle us. Feel free to change the orientation of the sketch by rotating or flipping the sketch, changing from landscape or portrait, or vice versa, or using its mirror image.

You may replace the given shapes with other shapes (i.e., ovals for squares, a flower in place of a star, etc.) as long as the basic sketch is visible in your project. If the sketch does not include a sentiment you are not required to add one but may do so if you choose. If the sketch includes a sentiment you MUST include one on the front of your card.

If you would like additional inspiration to create your card, may we suggest that you visit our sister challenge? For more details, we have provided a tab above for your convenience.

Enjoy using our sketch and be sure to tell your fellow crafters about us.

Challenge 638 - Ends Sunday, Jan 14th

Please note that Try a Sketch On Tuesday typically begins on a Tuesday.
To avoid confusion with back-linking with our Double Trouble partner
and for this challenge only, TSOT will begin Monday, January 1st
to coincide with our partner's challenge dates.

Try a Sketch On Tuesday Challenge #638

Welcome to the new face of TSOT! While we are sticking with the same acronym, you may have noticed a few changes. From now on, we'll be known as Try a Sketch On Tuesday and we welcome you to our new format. We are still a biweekly challenge but our challenges will be scheduled for the first and third Tuesdays each month.

It's no surprise that for our first challenge, we are partnering with our sister challenge, Double Trouble. Double Trouble is recognizing World Introvert Day using the TSOT Sketch #638.  The BACKGROUND of the sketch will be affected by this humorous occasion.  Whether you are introverted or extroverted, Thing 1's requirement is to create a project to show us your personality through one of the two fun background choices.  Be sure to check out the complete Double Trouble challenge details available HERE
